I'm a London based freelance Illustrator, Designer, Printmaker & a member of the Association of Illustrators (AOI). My work is primarily narrative based & is inspired by travelling experiences, current affairs, vintage art, mystical fictional stories & folk tales. I focus on personal reminiscence, emotions & memories, which all contribute to the insightful & surprising elements & energy in my work.
I enjoy experimenting with different media. I combine photography, decorative patterns, textures & ephemera, which I often end up building digitally. I'm a Photoshop addict indeed!
I have worked on a range of privately commissioned & self-initiated projects, & I have a number of published works & exhibitions. My work has been used in print & online - in book publishing, & in design & advertising. Commissions have included children's sticker books 'Adventures in Cold Places, 'Adventures in Smelly Places' & 'Adventures Around the Globe' for Lonely Planet Kids, illustrations of Benjamin Franklin's life and work in London created to be used as educational projections in Benjamin Franklin House, graphic novel strips for Bishop's Stortford Museum created to commemorate 100 years since World War One, using the museum’s World War One police archives as material to illustrate.
